Calories over time

Consider just one new habit that you've adopted since you began your weight loss journey. Have you reduced your weekly chocolate biscuit intake from 20 to 10? Have you started walking for 20 minutes, 3 times a week? Calculate how many calories you’re burning or saving each week with this new habit. Now multiply this by 7 weeks, 14 weeks, and 52 weeks to see just how much weight you’ll continue to lose by just keeping on doing what you’re doing. (Remember, 1 kg of fat is worth 7700 calories). So if you're saving 1000 calories each week by eating 10 less biscuits, in just over 7 weeks time you’ll have lost another 1 kg of fat. Keep it up for 3 months, and that’s another 2 kgs, and in a year, over 6.5 kg – all with just one healthy habit and a few less biscuits! Imagine how much more you can achieve if you add even one more healthy habit to your routine…
